Frequently asked questions
What kind of captchas does it handle?
Captcha Pilot focuses on classic image captchas — the distorted text-in-a-picture kind where you read the characters and type them into a box. It does not handle "select all the traffic lights" puzzles or invisible challenge widgets.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Install the extension and it works right away. There's no sign-up, login, or subscription.
Is my browsing data collected?
No. Pilot only sends the captcha image itself to be solved. It doesn't track the pages you visit or collect personal information.
Can I turn it off for certain sites?
Yes. Each page has its own on/off switch in the popup, plus a global master toggle. You can also adjust uppercase output and add a delay per page.
It missed the captcha on a page — what can I do?
Open the popup and use the manual pickers to point at the captcha image and its input field. Pilot remembers your choice for that page next time.
